November Wonder of the Month: Khadidja Latreche
Throughout her career, Khadidja Latreche has had an immense amount of success and accomplishments. She was the national champion in the u/14, u/16, u/18, and u/20 categories for her country, and was a member of the Algerian national team from 2007-2013.
Girl Power Chess Club Update: December 2021-March 2022
Our Girl Power Chess Club is in full swing! Starting on December 1st of 2021, Queens United Chess Ambassadors have been leading weekly virtual chess club meetings for girls in kindergarten through 8th grade. As of May 2022, our club has connected over 30 girls in Chicago and around the United States.

They will present about their experiences in chess and there will be time for a live audience Q&A at the end. This event is open to the general public and will take place via Zoom on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 8pm-9pm CT, in honor of Women's History Month.
