Queens United Chess is a student-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that bridges the gender divide and removes cost barriers to chess by offering female-led chess programs at no cost to youth. Since its establishment in 2019, Queens United has launched 16 chess programs and directly impacted over 550+ youth across Chicago. By partnering with Chicago Public Schools to develop the citywide “CPS Chess Queens” initiative and hosting tournaments alongside the Chicago Chess Foundation, our team of 30+ female instructors is excited to deliver free personalized chess programming for all students, regardless of background. We are honored to work alongside ChessKid to make our mission possible and make chess accessible to everyone.
