Queens United is excited to announce that we are going to be hosting a special tournament, Sunday, March 19 in honor of Women’s History Month! This tournament will be on ChessKid and is open to all Queens United and Chicago students. There will be a Google Meet hosted by our ambassadors in which kids can join to participate in fun activities and a possible raffle in between the rounds of the tournament. Make sure to register ahead of time with this Google Form!

Details:

When? Sunday, March 19, 2023 -> 11am-4pm

• 11am-12pm: Join tournament/ Google Meet troubleshoot

• 12pm: Everyone JOINS ChessKid tournament 

• 12:15pm: Round 1 starts!

• 4pm: No later than 4pm tournament ENDS

Structure?

• 4 rounds G15+15 via ChessKid.com (with 5 minute break between rounds)

• Activities like Kahoot and games in between rounds (in breakout rooms)

• Raffle prize!
